1,000 Books Reading Challenge
For ages 0–5
It doesn’t matter if your child is three or just three months. There’s no better time to start than now! Reading helps build social and emotional skills, sparks creativity and imagination, promotes bonding, and helps kids do well overall in school.
Log each time you read a book to earn awesome badges. For every 100 books, stop into the North Canton Public Library to take a photo with our milestone Photo Booth!
Year of Reading Challenge for Adults
For ages 18+
We’re encouraging adults to read all year long. There will be prizes along the way and a grand prize at the end, and in order to enter, you just need to read books.
Every book you read, up to 100 books, earns you a ticket toward the grand prize drawing at the end of the year for a book lover’s basket. Each month will also have its own theme, and folks who read a book related to that theme will have the chance to win a gift card at the end of the month.
